File a Claim

DeOliveira Insurance has partnered with insurance carriers who will be there to help you, especially when you need them most.

Experiencing a potential claim loss can be overwhelming. Taking the appropriate steps is key.  The first step is to limit or mitigate the loss….shut off the water, gather your family and animals, and get to Safety. Secondly, if needed, contact an emergency contractor or a water mitigation specialist like Servpro, Disaster Specialist, and or Oceanside Restoration, and if needed, the local police or fire department. Next, contact our office to review your situation, as in some cases, a claim may not be necessary. It’s always good to be aware of your deductibles before filing a claim. If the claim is small, it may be below your deductible amount, and filing a claim, even when no money is paid out, can have long-term effects. Finally, once you have decided it is necessary to file a claim, contact your carrier using the links below to get started.

Should I file a claim

Most insurance policies are designed to cover, instant or catastrophic losses, Like a broken windshield from a rock while driving down the highway, a fire, or severe windstorm. Insurance policies do not protect again wear and tear, lack of maintenance or negligence. So what else is not covered?
